Carmen Y. Limparis received an AA in Business (Economics & Accounting) and an Automotive Certificate from Northern Virginia Community College in 1972, and an AS in Mathematics from Montgomery College in Rockville MD in 1998 and earned a BA in Computer Science, Writing and Criminal Justice in 2009 from University of Baltimore. She worked as a Systems/Program/Economic Analyst with the Department of the Navy for 14 years. She was also Security Classification Specialist for 3 years, and researched all contractors to get their security clearances updated. Carmen has also spent 19 years with the US Post Office as a maintenance mechanic, she diagnosed as well as repaired the mail processing machines and dispatched calls to other mechanics, and took training courses in Norman OK. She is a member of the National Association Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and was certified as a scuba diver in January 1978. She also became a Certified Perdonal Fitness Trainer in 2005, and a certified Nail Technician (Manicurist) in 1999. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, sewing, reading, and writing. She plans to continue her education if she is able. She is already enrolled in 2 Aromatherapy Schools and an online university.
